Trail Report 2-19-15

It’s snowing as I write this and we’ve received about 3 inches of light fluffy powder since it started this morning. Conditions have been great the past few days and it looks like this weekend is going to be perfect for our 3rd annual Poker Fun Run. All of our groomers were out last night making some flat beautiful trails. We finally made it to the Coburn Summit this morning with the groomer and bladed a nice trail from the halfway point to the summit. The lower half was groomed with the drag.
Please remember to slow down and stay right at all times. We have had a string of terrible accidents in our area over the past few weeks and it should serve as a wakeup call to everyone to use a little more caution than usual.

ITS 86 from The Forks to the intersection with ITS 89 is groomed to the Lower Enchanted Rd. The groomer had some issues last night and had to turn around early so there is about 5 miles that wasn’t done last night. it shouldn’t be too bad.

ITS 87 from the intersection with ITS 88 south to The Forks is groomed and in great condition.

ITS 89 from the Lake Parlin Connector to Grand Falls is groomed and in great condition.

The Coburn Connector is groomed and in good condition. We groomed to the halfway point on Coburn and bladed to the top this morning. Enjoy the view!

The Enchanted Loop is groomed and in good condition.

The Lake Parlin Connector is groomed and in good condition.

We hope to see a lot of sleds this weekend participating in the Poker Run. The club needs your support to keep the groomers going. Also, if you haven’t bought tickets yet for our mini Z sled raffle, please do so at one of the club businesses.

Thank You,
Joe
