Trail Report 1-29-15
After a long dry spell it seems that winter is finally going to kick it into high gear. We ended up with 8-10 inches from the storm 2 days ago and are expecting the same tomorrow with more possible early next week. All of the thin spots should be covered up nicely and surrounding areas that didn’t have enough to groom should be back on track. We groomed yesterday and will be going again tomorrow night for what looks to be another great weekend ahead. Just another reminder…Go SLOW and use caution on any plowed sections. It’s important that we are mindful of the landowners and don’t interfere with their work.
ITS 87 from the intersection of ITS 88 south to the Forks is groomed and in good condition.
ITS 89 from the Lake Parlin Connector to Grand Falls is groomed and in good condition. Use caution on the steep section going up over Coburn Mtn. It’s still icy as that area was windblown and didn’t accumulate much snow in the trail.
ITS 86 from the Forks to Grand Falls is groomed and in good condition. Along the river will still be a little thin today but should be in great shape after tomorrows storm. We still have a plowed section 2-3 miles long to deal with for about another week or two. We thought the operation had moved out but they still have some cleaning up to do. PLEASE GO SLOW AND YIELD TO TRUCKS AND EQUIPMENT!
The Coburn Connector is groomed and in good condition.
The Enchanted Loop is groomed and in good condition.
The Lake Parlin Connector is groomed and in good condition.
Get out and enjoy the fresh snow!
