Last Trail Report

Chilly Sunrise

Heading into the last weekend of our season, conditions are good to excellent. Riders this week have been giving our trails great reports and although the end is in sight, there is still time to get out and enjoy it. There are showers in the forecast tomorrow but it doesn’t look like enough to affect the trails and it will be followed by a little snow and cold temps to set things up for the weekend . We groomed last night and will go again on Friday as cold air returns. With the sun so high the snow will go quick so come on up and enjoy some great Spring riding now.

ITS 89 from Lake Parlin Connector to Grand Falls is groomed and in great condition.

ITS 87 from 88 to the Forks is groomed. Logging contractors have plowed a 5 mile section of trail starting at route 15 and heading south. It is passable but caution should be used as this is a shared road now. We will be grooming from the Lake Parlin Connector south to the Forks but will no longer groom north from the Lake Parlin Connector to 88. The trail is still in great shape and should hold up through the weekend. Going south is groomed and in excellent condition.

ITS 86 from the Forks to 89 is groomed and in good condition. Bare spots are starting to show but overall the trail is very good.

The Enchanted Loop is groomed and in good condition.

The Coburn Connector is groomed and in good condition. There are still some drifts from the wind but overall is very good.

The Lake Parlin Connector is groomed and in good condition.

Conditions Couldn’t Be Better

Trail Report 3-18-15

After a foot and half of new snow over the past 4 days it’s hard to imagine conditions could get much better. This is most definitely Spring riding at it’s best.

We will be grooming tonight and through next week and will end grooming for the season next weekend.

It’s time to get out and enjoy the end of what’s been a great winter.

All trails are groomed and in good condition.

Be aware of drifting snow in the trails as we have had high winds yesterday and today.

Great Spring Riding Is Here

Trail Report 3-12-15

The last couple of days were a reminder that the end of the season is not far off but it appears winter is not going away quietly. Cold nights and warmer days than we’ve had in awhile will make for great riding over the next few weeks. We had all the groomers running last night to flatten things out before the cold temps set in. We did have a machine break down last night so there is a short section of ITS 86 that didn’t get finished but we hope to have it back up and running this morning and the grooming complete. There is snow in the forecast this weekend so we could be looking at a perfect second half of March to finish off a great season. Enjoy it while you can!

ITS 86 is groomed from the Forks to the lower Enchanted rd. We should finish grooming to the intersection of 86/89 today.

ITS 89 from the Lake Parlin Connector to Grand Falls is groomed and in good condition. I just heard back from the operator and he said there is some exposed dirt and rocks that came out after the warm weather so use caution. It should get covered back up after this weekends snow.

ITS 87 from ITS 88 to the Forks is groomed and in good condition.

The Coburn Connector is groomed and in good condition.

The Lake Parlin Connector is groomed and in good condition.

The Enchanted Loop is groomed and in good condition.
